Pearson & Associates provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering for the complete renovation of 19th century building to become the Vermont Ski Museum.
Proper planning and design of the electrical systems insured a neat and clean installation that functions at high efficiency levels.
The Rubenstein School community, created a vision for a renovated George D. Aiken Center. Besides designing for more efficient space, the vision strives towards sustainability and reduces the School’s ecological footprint.
The Green Aiken Center blends ecologically designed systems and advanced technology to clean and renew the building’s air and water, naturally light the interior, and house occupants and greet visitors in a welcoming, healthy, and stimulating environment.
The School will educate a new generation of ecologically literate citizens who understand the “environmental costs” of traditional construction and building operations and the benefits of designing and living within a space integrated with and connected to ecological systems. The renovated Aiken Center will be a harbinger of a sustainable future, a “Green Beacon” for the University and Burlington communities and their visitors.
The Green Aiken Center received a LEED Gold building rating
An Italianate-style granite building built in 1894; the Kellogg Hubbard Library is often described as the “Jewel” of Montpelier.
This project involved a complete restoration of the existing historic building, including seamless introductions of all new mechanical and electrical systems
An 8,000 square foot addition was added to house the new Children’s library and to expand overall shelf and administrative space.
Particular attention to lighting and other details maintained the historic significance of the building.
Pearson & Associates provided electrical engineering services for the Town of Windsor Municipal facilities which included; Administrative Offices, Police Department, Fire Department, and the Town Recreation Department. The design coordinated all four functions on one site through renovation of the previous Windsor High School, owned by the Town of Windsor. The final design incorporated a major portion of the existing school, the gymnasium for the Recreation Center, and provided a new addition for the Town Offices, Fire Department, and Police Department.
Pearson & Associates provided mechanical and electrical engineering services to provide a new facility for Fire Department, Police Department, Rescue and Mountain Rescue.
Radiant floor heating with controlled ventilation was designed and installed.
Energy Efficient heating, air conditioning and ventilation was designed and installed.
